Climate controlled storage is a feature we offer at all of our storage facilities. Our climate controlled units maintain a temperature of approximately 65-77 degrees. This feature helps protect your stored items from extreme temperatures. Our climate controlled facilities are housed in an indoor finished building where dirt and dust are less likely to penetrate. This type of environment is ideal for storing furniture, photographs, electronics, artwork, and other items.

If you made advance payments on your account and need to move out before you anticipated, we will refund your pre-paid rent in full month increments. We cannot pro-rate a refund for a partial month. For example, if you pre-paid through March and you move out on Feb 15, we will refund your payment for March.
We request that you give us at least 10 days notice before your intended move-out date. The move out process is easy: just empty your storage unit and remove your lock. Return your lock and three keys to the office during business hours. We’ll close out your account on the spot. This is very important: since a lock on your unit indicates you are still occupying the unit, your rental agreement will be renewed and your account charged.
Many customers prefer our automatic credit card payment option because of how convenient it is. You can enroll at your storage facility or online in My Account. The choice is yours!

It depends on your storage facility. Some facilities are setup for 1st of month and some facilities are setup for anniversary. Mycube Self Storage follows all state laws governing fees for late payments and liens on severely delinquent accounts. Access will be denied if rent is not paid by the due date. Customers will have a 7 day grace period before a late fee is assessed. Should payment be more than 26 days late, the account enters a "lien" status in which additional fees are posted to cover associated legal expenses, etc. and the unit contents will be seized. Once an account is in "lien" status all payments must be made in full at the facility office with cash, money order, or certified check. Refer to your lease or storage facility for further details.
Not unless you request it. Mycube Self Storage does not normally send a monthly invoice.

Auctions are a legal means to clear items from a space when a customer has not made their contractual rental payments; each is conducted according to local and state laws. However, auctions are a last resort and something Mycube Storage would rather not do. It is in the best interest of Mycube Storage and the delinquent customer to come to a settlement and avoid the heartache and expense of conducting an auction of the items in the space. If you find that you are severely past-due, please stay in contact with us so we can resolve the matter quickly and avoid this process. We hold auctions every few months at each of our facilities. The auctions are conducted by a professional auction company. You can contact the storage facility in your neighborhood to find out when they will be held.
